Early break of 4, Me, Owen Lake, David Barnes and Richard DaSilva made a decent gap and help off the chase for 5 laps. I saw my chance as people started to suffer on the climb and jumped away on the crest of the climb.
Soon my gap was increasing and I held off the chase by 50 seconds for the remaining hour of a 1 1/2 hour race, and soloed to the win.
